Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
FSAs allow you to use pre-tax dollars deducted from your pay to reimburse yourself for eligible expenses. Using pre-taxed dollars reduces your gross taxable income, saving you money. We offer the following options:
MEDICAL CARE FSA - Available with medical Plans 2 and 3
This FSA can be used to pay for eligible medical expenses for yourself or any other person you claim as a dependent for your federal income tax purposes. Pre-tax deductions for the Medical FSA cannot exceed $3,400 for 2026. Employees or qualified beneficiaries who are eligible for this FSA are eligible to rollover dollars up to $680 in the new plan year. Here is a list of common Medical Care FSA eligible expenses.

DEPENDENT CARE FSA - Available with any Jokake medical plan
The Dependent Care FSA can be used to pay for qualified dependent care services for eligible dependents, providing that care is needed to enable you and your spouse (if applicable) to work. In 2026, pre-tax deductions for the Dependent Care FSA cannot exceed $7,500 per plan year per household, or $3,750 if you are married and file separate tax returns. Here is a list of common Dependent Care FSA eligible expenses.
LIMITED PURPOSE FSA - Available with Plan 1
A Limited Purpose FSA can only be used for eligible out-of-pocket dental and vision costs, such as cleanings, fillings, eye exams, glasses, and contacts. Designed for employees enrolled in a high-deductible health plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA), allowing you to save additional pre-tax dollars for vision and dental care. You can contribute up to $3,400 per year in 2026.
